I stayed at a fantastic hostel called Living Room - Sha Plus in the cozy town of Karon. The staff went above and beyond to take care of me when I had a terrible food experience nearby. It's a small hostel, perfect for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere with fewer backpackers. The breakfast was delicious, offering eggs, fresh fruit, and toast. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, with great showers and secure storage. I even got a free upgrade to a superior suite with cable TV and a balcony to dry my beachwear. The location was convenient, with local buses available to travel to Phuket Town at a lower cost than taxis. an excellent experience!

Can't fault the property in any way. 🌟

The room was huge and had excellent facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly, saying hello every time we walked through reception. Just the right distance away from the beach and noise, but not too far away. A few doors down is an amazing restaurant called Elephant cafe and restaurant, don't think enough people know about it! Breakfast was lovely in the hotel.

Spotless and big

No other facilities in room. Only TV with 12 or so channels, a few not working, many in Russian or Italian. No kettle or hot drink facilities, or bottle opener. Did have two bottles of water each day. For superior double the facilities were poor,but spotless.

We went diving and fishing and it was total gnarly fun. The rooms were wicked spacious and clean, and the staff were super cool and helpful. The free internet in the lobby was a bonus, even though no wifi. Karon might not be the party central, but we made our own fun!

Wish there were more epic party options nearby for us young, wild, and free teens. But hey, we still had a blast making memories together.

The value for money at Living Room - Sha Plus was excellent, with clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a good choice of TV channels. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offered convenient amenities like free towels for the beach and a coffee machine in the morning. The location was also great, with nearby cheap food options, the Karon night market, and a short walk to the beach.

The food for breakfast could be improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Quiet, clen - good for relax

Everything worked, it was extremely clean and spacious, breakfast was good, the location was a short walk from the beach and restaurants etc.

However, the room itself was spacious and clean, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was also convenient, as it was only a short 15-minute walk to the beach. I did appreciate not having to spend too much time traveling to get to the beautiful shores. Despite the staff's shortcomings, at least the room and location offered some positive aspects to my Christmas stay.

Christmas at the hotel was a bit disappointing. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly, which put a damper on the holiday spirit.

Very good hotel with friendly staff for a reasonable money. The distance from the beach is about 15-20 minutes by walk or you can rent a motobike for about 7$ a day

Rooms at the roadside are very noisy.

the staff at this hostel were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. they even helped me retrieve my lost phone after I left it in a taxi. the dorm room was clean and comfortable with great amenities like lockable cupboards and privacy curtains.

Wifi was unreliable.

Good staff, clearn room, free wifi. 15 minutes walk along the road to Karon beach. 15 minutes drive by local bus to Kato beach

Very noisy outside the hotel - as a result very noisy in the rooms. On one side there is a road and sound car service (always very loud music with subbufers), on the other side there is some building processes.

The guest rooms at Karon Living Room are absolutely amazing! They are spacious, fully furnished, and have all the necessary amenities. I felt so comfortable during my stay and loved the free WiFi. It was like a home away from home!

Personally, I found the cable TV in the room a bit outdated. But hey, that's just me!

During my recent business trip to Karon, my director chose to book us at Living Room - Sha Plus. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent services provided. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. It was a relief to know that a soothing massage could also be arranged upon request, adding an extra touch of relaxation to my stay.

Everything in the room was very old and there wasn't even an aircon remote control.

The staff were super cool and helped us book the most epic diving trip ever! We saw colorful fish and even a freaking shark! And the fishing excursion was off the hook! Literally, we caught so many big fish! It was like being on our own reality show! We felt like true adventurers!

The only thing I wish is that they had a party area or a bar where we could hang out and meet other cool people. Don't get me wrong, the hotel itself was awesome, but it would have been even more lit if we had a place to party right on site.
